A new year & a new start

Apologies for the length between posts, consider it as a Winter hibernation…

DigIT will be launching a new advertising campaign in the Spring which will focus on the Hillside area of Aberdeen, Culter, Cults, Milltimber and Bieldside.  Expect flyers through your doors telling of the wonders offered by digIT, so much more than Computer repairs.

So with that out of the way, what have I been doing these past months?  Well, I have recently finished a short course on Windows 7 Administration and am about to start a final video training course before undertaking a Microsoft Certification exam, hopefully by the end of Spring this year.  I have also been familiarising  myself with Linux as I will be attending a week long Red Hat Enterprise Linux course in Glasgow next week.  Looking forward to the possibilities that will open up!

Aside from training, I have been getting quite attached to my DSLR.  I have, yet another training class, coming up on how to best utilise my camera in a couple of weeks.  Looking forward to getting the most out of my new found hobby.  I find myself having to restrain from taking cliched closeups of water droplets and what not, but am enjoying the ability of taking awesome looking photos!

That’s all for now folks, I’ll do my best to keep this blog up-to-date, but like most Geeky types, I am easily distracted!
